Barry was originally involved in the aviation industry form 2005 – 2009, Barry then moved across to the work at height industry in 2010. Swiftly progressing in the company Barry was promoted from a Trainer to the General Manager and now acting as Managing Director of Gravity Training (Pty) Ltd. Barry was also elected as the IWH Rope Access Chair in 2017 providing him with the opportunity to not only make an impact on the company but also the industry. In his spare time, Barry enjoys rock climbing, cycling and generally spending time in the bush and mountains.
The founding father of the Gravity Group, Gert Forster is a born and bred Pretorian. Across a illustrious work at height career (a deviation from his studies in Nature Life Management) Gert achieved IRATA and IWH level 3 status early on and has continued to improve not only himself but the entire industry and has been doing so since 1994. It should come as no surprise that Gert has a love for heights, the outdoors and people.
Hailing from Welkom Freestate, Andries has been with Gravity since 2012. He completed his B.Com Financial Management and then went on to become a SAIPA Accounting Technician as well as obtaining his CIMA Certificate. He has a passion for business that focusses on service delivery, honesty, integrity and quality. His aim is to help grow to company to such and extent where we can have the opportunity to give back to the community at large.
Ryno Griesel was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and after making quick work of his Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification (as well as becoming an Independent Auditor and a SARS Tax Practitioner) he turned his attention to the work at height industry. With a passion for people and making a difference through business combined with a love for climbing and adventure, Ryno and the Gravity Group were a perfect fit from the start. He has been involved with the Gravity Group since 2005.
